Hedgecock finished the race in 31:21.2. The race was Hedgecock's first appearance at the NCAA Championships.]]></description>

The men's 10K race will begin at 11 a.m., with the women's 6K following at 12:15 p.m.]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[Columbia, Mo. - Kate Greer (Marshalltown, Iowa), a member of the 2007 Missouri Cross Country team has landed on the Big 12 Conference Fall Good Works Team. Greer, a senior this season, is the Missouri representative on the team, as each school is allotted one athlete. Greer was recognized not only for her community service, but also for her high level of performance for the Tiger cross country team this season. The team reflects a positive image for all of the Big 12 athletes, and one that provides role models for many student athletes.]]></description>

This marks the first time in Big 12 Conference history that the championships will be held in Lubbock. The top 15 runners on both the men's and women's side will earn all conference honors, with the team champions earning automatic bids to the NCAA Championships. The race will be held Fri., Oct. 26 at 11 a.m. (CT) starting with the women's 6000-meter race.]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[Peoria, Ill. - The 2007 Tiger cross country team viewed the Bradley Classic as its final tune up before heading into post season play. After today's performance, it is safe to say that the Tigers look ready. 17 Tiger runners set personal records at the course at Newman Golf Course as both the men and women took home the team titles, with sophomore Dan Hedgecock (St. Louis, Mo.) winning the 8K race with a personal best time of 24:35. Freshman Kinsey Farren (Dallas, Texas) led the women across the finish line as she placed sixth overall with a personal best time of 21:22. The Tigers women scored 49 points just edging out Wichita State who finished in second place with 58 points. The Tiger men finished with 27 points, well ahead of Illinois State who finished in second with 53 points.]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[Columbia, Mo. - On the heels of sophomore Dan Hedgecock (St. Louis, Mo.), the 2007 Missouri Cross Country team placed 10th with 270 points at the 22nd annual Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis, Minn. Hedgecock ran the best race of his young career with the Tigers as he clocked in at 25:10, a personal best time in an 8K race, placing him 28th out of 211 total runners. The women, behind Angela Potrykus (Evergreen, Colo.), also took 10th place with 309 points in the 6K race. With 257 total runners on the women's side, Potrykus was able to notch a 47th place finish with a time of 22:35, tying a personal record that she set last season at the Pre-Nationals meet.]]></description>

Brammeier finished the race in 25:52.69 and helped the Tigers, despite only running the freshman class, take home third place against 13 other teams including Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech and Clemson.]]></description>
