Champions For Life Capital Campaign
The Champions for Life capital campaign is a fundraising effort to support the 500+ student-athletes at Mizzou. The campaign has been in progress since 1999 and has helped our department to endow scholarships for student-athletes, renovate and build new facilities, and provide financial support to our 20 sports programs. Currently, the Champions for Life capital campaign has secured more than $121 million for the Athletic Department.
Through the monies raised in the Champions for Life capital campaign, the MU Sports Park has been able to go through a remarkable face-lift. The following projects have been completed or are near completion:
- University Field Softball Stadium Renovation
- Simmons Field Baseball Outfield Renovation
- Mizzou Arena
- Providence Rd. Pedestrian Overpass
- Audrey J. Walton Track and Soccer Field Renovation
- Mizzou Aquatics Center
- Wrestling Practice Facility
- Green Tennis Center
- Faurot Field FieldTurf Installation
- Ralph and Debbie Taylor/Phi Delta Theta Stadium
- Memorial Stadium Press Box Expansion
- Daniel J. Devine Pavilion
- Mizzou Athletic Training Complex
